This Ferrari 340 MM re-creation was constructed approximately 10 years ago by MC Auto Creations in Texas using the chassis and running gear from a 1977 Ferrari 400 GT. Featuring aluminum barchetta-style bodywork finished in red, the car is powered by a 4.8-liter Colombo quad-cam V12 that breathes through six sidedraft Weber carburetors and is mated to a five-speed manual transmission. Additional features include four-wheel disc brakes, independent suspension with coilover shock absorbers, an oil cooler, a quad-outlet exhaust system, painted 16 wire wheels, fixed-back bucket seats trimmed in tan leather, and a wood-rimmed steering wheel. The 4.8-liter Tipo F101 V12 features dual overhead camshafts on each cylinder bank and breathes through six Weber 38 DCOE carburetors that are said to have been rebuilt during a 2022 service. Additional features include twin distributors, an oil cooler, and a custom coolant header tank.Silver-painted wire wheels are secured by three-eared knock-offs and wear 215/70R16 BFGoodrich Long Trail T/A tires. Running gear carried over from the 400 GT chassis includes hydraulic disc brakes with four-piston calipers as well as double-wishbone suspension. Adjustable coilover shock absorbers are in place at each corner, while the 400 GTs rear self-leveling units have been removed.
