1972 Mercedes-Benz 350SL

This example comes from the first year of production of the fabled 107 series. Badged as a 350 SL, these first year vehicles were actually factory fitted with the more powerful 4.5 liter V8 engine due to period emissions regulations. This is a two owner vehicle purchased new in Beverley Hills, Ca and later moved into retirement with its later owner at Rancho Mirage, Ca. The black interior is all original and is in excellent condition defying the passage of time, the original Becker radio works well and gives a deep clear sound. We have all of the owners books and manuals for this vehicle too. The aforementioned V8 engine runs very well and does not leak or smoke and also has no undue mechanical noises or causes for concern. The automatic transmission shifts smoothly without any juddering. The vehicle has been repainted in the original 173G grey. This vehicle has recently enjoyed over seven thousand dollars worth of recommissioning to further enhance the joys of ownership, including new tires.
