This 1963 Porsche is a true barn find. A time capsule Southern California car with 2 previous owners. it Was purchased by the second owner in 1968 from Chick Iverson Porsche Volkswagen dealer in Newport beach California. Previous owner was a member of the Porsche club of America. It was restored in the early 90s with a respray same color and a new leather interior. Around the same time, it was entered in the Porsche concourse de elegance in Newport beach with documents and inspection and comments by judges at the time. The documents are still with the car. As the owners health declined in early 2000s the car sat in the garage for about 20 years until it was discovered by a realtor selling the house in 2021. Since the discovery it has been gone through a mechanical checkup with care not to disturb its originality. The repairs included a brand-new gas tank, Fuel lines, brake lines, brake cylinders etc. wheels have been professionally powder coated and hubcaps replated, a brand new set of VREDESTEIN SPRINT CLASSIC Grand Touring Summer Size 165HR15 86H tires were installed as well. A brand new and correct carpet kit installed. The interior was originally black vinyl and was replaced by a cream leather with brown carpet. Porsche COA revealed a matching number car.
