The MG TD was made in England from 1949 to 1953 and helped establish the sports car craze in America. Powered by a 1250 cc inline 4 cylinder engine with a 4 speed manual transmission. The TD combined the TC drive train with a modified hyphoid geared rear axle with the MG Y-type chassis and a familiar T-type style body. An independent front suspension using coil springs in front was new, based on that fitted to the MG Y-type saloon, as was rack & pinion steering. Cute little roadster! This particular example has enjoyed a full restoration and will satisfy any inspection. It also has the highly sought after steel disc wheels.
